Boy, Whatever!

Today will be a T-shirt and jeans day.  Ladies, you can't go wrong with  a cute trendy T and a pair of ripped jeans.  Wearing open toe heels with a pair of nicely fit jeans gives you a fun and sexy look that is sure to turn heads.  It's pretty sunny out, so I couldn't leave home without my shades.  To fancy things up a bit, I chose these hanging charcoal earrings and matching Dior watch.

Crochet Crush

This crochet top with a floral pattern just screams springtime.  I paired it with black skinny fit pants with gold zipper detail.  These strappy open toe heels give me just the right amount of height.  My over-sized bag was a gift from my friend and I absolutely love it.  I have been wearing it a lot lately because I can fit any and everything in it.  To add even more feminine flair, I added several chunky bracelets embellished with small and large pearls and rhinestones.

Grecian Glam

This look is an example of how a simple accessory can change your whole look.  The dress, by itself, is a classy, sexy and fun sun dress, but when the belt is added, it becomes a new age Grecian-style ensemble.  The belt gives shape to the dress by accentuating my waist and the hardware on the belt adds a little bit of an edge.  I added this gold angled cuff because it mirrors the pattern of the gold detail on the belt.  To complete the Grecian look, I chose these simple gold tones sandals.  And instead of wearing an over-sized bag, that might take away from the simplicity of the look, I went with a small black clutch with gold detail.

Faintly Fatigue

So, lately I've had this obsession with T-shirts from Target.  Every time I go to the store, the first thing I do is check out the T-shirt section to see if I can find something cute and fun.  I came across this fatigue T-shirt a few weeks ago.  I paired it with  parachute pants that I shortened by pulling them up close to my knee.  I went with these tall chunky heels with lattice detail and this small snakeskin pattern purse to compliment the colors in the top.

Mint Julep

This ensemble make me feel like I'm a southern belle, siting out on the veranda, sipping a mint julep.  I added a lace bandeau top for extra coverage and it gives the dress a very dainty feel.  I chose this gold beaded belt to accentuate my waist and compliment the tones of the hat. I stayed with the metallic theme and chose a gold trimmed clutch and gold toned sandals.  I reckon it's gonna be a beautiful day, y'all.

Stripped and Striped

I was hesitant about wearing this dress because the day started out gloomy and typically I try to counteract gloomy days by wearing bright colors, but this dress has been hanging in my closet (unworn) since last summer, so I decided to throw it on.  I love wearing vertical stripes because they provide a great slimming effect.  The split on the dress is quite high, but since I'm in such a good mood today, I'm gonna go ahead and let my left thigh make a scene.  I thought this fringed clutch would go well with the vertical stripes in the dress.  I chose wedges because I wanted to keep it sexy by adding height but I didn't want to compromise my comfort level.

Rockin' Kaleidoscope

This butterfly top makes me feel like I'm looking into a kaleidoscope.  The silver stud details along the sleeve give it a
rock n' roll feel.  I paired the top with these teal jeans that have a stone washed effect.  I chose this suede purse with long fringe detail because it added to the cool rock style.  I went with chunky, strappy heels because they are sexy and cool, but not too obnoxious.

Fashion Mullet

I was a little indecisive with my styling today.  I couldn't figure out if I wanted to go for a trendy, casual look or a sophisticated, business look, so I decided to go with both.   I call this look a fashion mullet...party on the top, business on the bottom.

Mesmerizing Maxi

The dress I'm wearing today was a birthday gift I received this past weekend.  I love the intricate pattern and the sexy splits on the sides.  Its perfect for this hot L.A. weather and it screams "springtime fashion".  I played on the flowy nature of the dress by wearing these long beaded earrings.  The dress is casual enough to pair with a simple flat, so I chose these gold toned sandals.  I completed the look with a classic black MK bag.

Sequined Sass

I have an extreme love affair with printed pants.  The bigger and bolder the pattern, the better.  When I found these colorful, abstract snakeskin print pants, it was love at first sight. They are so unique and can be dressed up or dressed down.  Today, I decided to sass it up a bit with this gold sequin tank top.  The sequin is only in the front, so it's half fancy, half laid back comfort.  I chose this burnt orange clutch with a gold chain to compliment the pants.  Since the top and pants were such statement pieces, I decided to keep it simple with my shoes and I chose these simple tan sandals.

Bohemian Blues

I call this look is bohemian chic with a casual twist.  I paired this printed flared top with a knit sweater vest.  I love how the vest graduates in length from the front to the back.  Instead of going for the typical denim jeans, I chose these cobalt blue skinny jeans to pick up the blues in the top.  I went with a simple gold strappy sandal and a cream colored clutch with gold trim detail to complete the look.

Metallic Mama

I have really been into metallics lately...tops, skirts, shoes...you name it.  I'm wearing a mesh gold metallic top today.  It's perfect for this heat wave we are having in L.A.  I wore a nude tank underneath as to not be too risque'.  I paired it with these distressed and bleached cropped jeans.  To accent the top, I added a gold chain belt, large gold earrings, gold bangles and sandals with gold stud detail.  To add a contrast of color, I chose an orange and grey handbag.  So ladies, it's possible to be comfy and blinged out at the same time.

Monday Morning Juice: Celebrity Style Icon Kelly Osbourne

On today's Monday Morning Juice, we pay homage to Celebrity Star Icon, Kelly Osbourne.  We love her style because it is daring, colorful, vintage- inspired and fun.  She gives us Retro Punk Glam and she does it so well.  Her style is a true reflection of her personality and it even extends to her hair.  Not too many people can rock lavender/grey hair with such grace and style, but Kelly can.  So, today, we salute this style maven and we say, "Rock on, Kelly...Rock on!"
